ASE ECS Stack Design
Purchase
(A) Heavy Duty Burner Stack:
The inside stack is constructed of a 8" x 1/8 thick stainless pipe. This provides unmatched strength and durability. This stack is insulated with ceramic fibreblanket insulation. The outside skin is also heavy duty, being constructed of 12 Gauge Steel.
(B) Offset Stack Design:
The offset stack design is one of the key safety features of the ASE Emission Control System. With the burner burning offset from the kettle air intake there is little chance of a flame being sucked back inside the kettle from rapid decompression preventing kettle fires.
(C) Hoist Hook:
With a balanced hoist hook on the stack it is easy to lift and lower the entire emission lid. This allows the lid to be quickly removed using a hoist, crane or forklift to gain access to the kettle tubes for heavy maintenance or cleaning.
Stainless Steel Screens:
As further fire prevention there are twin stainless steel fire retardant screens to prevent burner flames from being drawn back into the kettle. Stainless steel is used for it's high strength and durability to high heat conditions.
Insulated Stack:
For the operator's safety and to increase stack life the burner stack has been insulated with a Kerwol? Fibre blanket insulation.
Removable Stack:
The stack of the ASE Emission Control Lid is removable with 6 easy bolts. This allows for easy transportation of the unit. This also give easy access to all parts of the lid for maintenance purposes.
Burner Height:
The burner is long and extends up into the vertical stack, this prevents flames from flowing back into the kettle.
